The Stone of Farewell - front cover

I have had the honor to illustrate Tad William's great trilogy The Dragonbone Chair for a limited edition release from Grim Oak Press. The cover to the second novel, The Stone of Farewell, was just partially released (front only) and features an action packed moment in the story. I will share the full 'battle in the snow' scene in another month.
Given that Michael Whelan originally illustrated these covers, there is a HUGE shadow to work under!
